Review: I don\'t know
where to start.....Kevin was absolutely amazing
from start to finish. He truly cared about
everything that we wanted for our special day.
He had a lot if great ideas that fit right into
what we wanted. We had to travel to where we
were getting married so when we were visiting he
fit us into his schedule with no questioned ask
so that we could walk with him and get ideas
together for how we wanted our room setup to
look like. Any time that we had a question it
was very easy to get in touch with him between
phone calls and emails. He never made us wait
for anything he was right on top of everything.
When it came to our wedding day everything was
perfect just the way we had spoke about. Kevin
and his team did the music for our ceremony as
well as our reception and we also used his photo
booth. Truly we couldn't have asked for more
professional crew. All of our guest keep talking
about how much fun they had still till this day.
We believe that at a wedding t he music makes
the day and we can say without a doubt that

Review: My husband & I
were very lucky to find Kevin! He was a great
help not only with music selection but also
wedding reception etiquette. He had many well
thought suggestions which we followed and the
results were wonderful. He was fun and
professional! The only issue was he does not
charge enough. Based on his expertise,
equipment, lights, time setting up and breaking
down in addition to coming to the venue a week
prior to make sure the table layout & dance
floor layout were appropriate; he should have
charge us 3 times what he did bill us. I would
also recommend getting the photo lounge! Our
families had a great time and his staff were
excellent. The photo book was much better than
the standard sign-in book. It is full of fun
photos and well wishes, it is a wonderful
keepsake. I wish I could do it all over again,
Kevin made the reception more fun than I could
have hoped for!

Review: Hiring Kevin Colangelo as the Master of
Services for our wedding was easily the best
decision we made when it came to our wedding
planning. When you hire Kevin, you get more
than just a DJ. He truly acts as a wonderful
master of services for the entire event. Kevin
kept things running smoothly, and kept everyone
having fun, all without being obtrusive. Many
of our guests commented after the wedding on how
much they enjoyed dancing at our wedding and on

good a DJ could be until we met Kevin. He was an
excellent speaker that night and kept the

was a fantastic DJ! From our first meeting we
knew that our reception would be fantastic.
Planning the music for the reception was a
breeze with the online website. The forms were
very easy and helpful. He also took a lot of
time not just during our first meeting but also
met with us at our venue a couple weeks prior to
the wedding to go over floor plans, lighting
etc.
We were both extremely
pleased with his performance at our wedding. He
was very attentive to the pace of the wedding
and accommodated all of our music requests. The
dance floor was NEVER empty! We have had

Review: Kevin exceeded
our expectations for planning, lighting, sound,
music and entertainment for our wedding day. He
was not only very attentive and receptive to our
needs and concerns prior to the event, but he
demonstrated his attention to detail as he
carried out these plans.
We were so happy that
we went with Kevin for our ceremony sound and
music. The ceremony went flawless and the music
was played exactly how we wanted it. His
suggestion for music selections for both the
ceremony and reception was a big hit as well.
As far as the
reception, the dinner music was perfect for the
setting. When it was time to pick it up,
everyone was on the dance floor! The lighting
and sound system really help make the event as
well. Everyone could hear the toasts clearly and
that was a huge plus for us as we have been to
many events where we would barely hear the
speaker.
Overall, Kevin and his
staff did a phenomenal job for us. Everything
from the planning to the transitions to the
photo booth was exactly what we wanted and kept
the day practically worry free!! His
suggestions and fast response (especially as the
event drew near) really helped keep the whole
day an event that we and our guests will never

services we were disappointed to find a huge
lack of interest from disc jockeys; that was
until we found Kevin. From the moment we met him

Review: Within about 5 or 10 minutes of
meeting Kevin Colangelo, I knew I wanted to hire
him to be the MC at my wedding. Kevin came
to my parents house the fall before my June
wedding. He spent around three hours with my
parents and I describing in detail what he could
do for us at my wedding. He was very animated
and expressive, even getting up out of his chair
at times to describe some of his wonderful
ideas. My parents and I hired him that night-we
knew we had the right guy for the job!! We were
definitely not disappointed. As the time
quickly approached for the wedding and more
contact was made with Kevin, he was always very
prompt in responding to phone calls and e-mails
and always spent whatever time was needed on
these phone calls and e-mails. Kevin always
offered extra wonderful ideas. When I was
concerned about how to make my groom\'s side of
the room for the reception look/be more
attractive, Kevin suggested we put high top
tables and a bar over on his side
. This worked out fabulous! Kevin was fabulous
at the reception as well doing his best to play
as many songs as I had requested. He was
professional and classy all the way through!! I
would highly recommend Kevin for your next

Review: From the first time
I saw Kevin in action about
5 years ago at one of my
friends wedding I knew that
the day I got married he was
going to be the one and only
DJ I called! My wife was
against only checking out
one DJ for the wedding (you
know how women get about
wedding details) but she
trusted in what I had to say
about Kevin. after coming to
an agreement on the cost of
the services which I felt
was very reasonable we not
only booked Kevin as our DJ
but also his wedding photo
booth. we wanted to do a
different wedding favor
because everyone pretty much
throws them out or never
takes them anyway. so we
went with the booth. what an
awesome idea!! people raved
about it all night. They
were having the time of
their lives playing dress-up
and feeling like a child
again. It honestly was the
greatest idea Kevin gave me
for the event. and if I
didn't trust his judgment I
probably would have not done
that. So thank you Kevin!
Approximately one week
before our wedding Kevin
drove all the way from
Geneva NY (finger lake
country) to our wedding site
which i believe was 3.5
hours away just to meet with
me and Brittany and discuss
what WE wanted to see for
our wedding. It was a 2 hour
meeting He completely made
our wishes and vision come
to life. I honestly don't
know of many company's who
would do that for their
clients. At best I expected
a phone conversation about
what we wanted. We talked
about everything from music
to up-lighting and
everything in between. My
wife felt so comfortable and
excited after meeting him
and seeing what live art he
was going to paint for us
and our guests. And to top
it all off when him and I
first spoke I told him that
i only wanted him (Kevin) to
run our wedding and not
anyone else from his company
he took the job. I was very
impressed with him after he
said he could be our DJ
personally. I really thought
he wouldn't want the job
because it was so far from
home for him but he accepted
personally and with ease.
Its been almost a month
since our wedding and we
still see people who all
they do is talk about how it
was the best wedding they
have ever went to in their
lives!! how Kevin was the
best DJ they ever heard at a
wedding and they also cant
get over the lighting
inside the main dining room.

something they only see on
TV. Since the wedding I have
several friends who will be
married in the next few
years, and also my own
brother who will be having a
band at his wedding in

he was so impressed with him

memories for his wedding

Review: Kevin Colangelo
is a professional in every way who went above
and beyond what we expected to help us make our
wedding day and reception a day we will never
forget. We scheduled a meeting with Kevin on a
recommendation of a family member after our
original DJ company we had hired for our wedding
went out of business suddenly. With only a
couple of months before the wedding, we were out
our deposit and unsure where to turn. We were
very lucky Kevin was available. He not only
recommended ways to recover our deposit, but
also gave us a discount on his services given
our situation. His generosity and assistance
made such a difference to us.
Kevin was very helpful
in helping us plan our reception, the timing,
feel, lighting in the reception room, etc. He
even met us at the wedding site a few weeks
before the wedding to help diagram everything.
On the day of the wedding, Kevin arrived early
in order to ensure all of his equipment was
ready and tested well before any guests
arrived. His sound system, lighting, photo
booth, and staff were all top notch. Kevin was
great during our reception at helping us keep to
our scheduled timeline, keeping the guests
entertained, and playing a great selection of
music. Kevin is a true entertainer who has
worked enough weddings to know what works and
what doesn't and to read the feel of your
reception and guests and make changes on the fly
if necessary.

Review: We were very happy with Kevin\s services.
Before the wedding, we had an hour-long call with him to talk about the
details of the event, minute by minute. Kevin\'s experience was clear as he
told us how to structure the event (i.e. make sure that no one is clearing
dishes during the speeches). He was also excellent about finding the music
we wanted and even remixing certain songs to fit our needs. Day of, Kevin
and his team arrived on time and were all set up as expected.

Without ever meeting Kevin in person until the day of our actual wedding, my
wife and I booked Kevin during the wedding planning process after speaking
to him one-time on the phone only. Kevin was so thoughtful and walked us
through everything that he would do for the reception. He really listened to
what we wanted and ensured us that he would make that happen (and he did not
disappoint). Furthermore, about a week before the wedding, we had a 2 hour
conference call where we reviewed every last detail. Needless to say, before
ever meeting Kevin or hearing his music, I knew we had the right guy.
Now on to the fun stuff....Kevin was an absolutely amazing DJ. Full stop.
When I say that every song he played seemed like the perfect fit, I really
mean it (my friends/family agreed as well because they could not believe
what a great DJ we had). After getting a feel from us for the type of music
we wanted to have, he started out with some classic oldies to get the
dancing started. This was earlier in the evening so it was great for our
older guests. But by the end of the night, he literally had the place
dancing like crazy (mostly me and my wife's friends at this point). But the
way that he transitioned from song to song and MC'd the event as perfect.
Also, I am from outside of New Orleans so I wanted to make sure I had some
of my hometown music, which Kevin was able to make happen as well.
If you are looking for a DJ that isn't cheesy, knows how to MC an amazing
party and is a true professional, then search no further. I strongly
recommend Kevin for his services. If you are not convinced by
recommendation, then I would suggest you call him to get a sense for what a
good guy he is and what a fantastic DJ he can be for you!

Review: We were extremely pleased with the
complete service we received from Kevin
Colangelo. This includes the pre-planning
discussions, pricing, the functionality of
the online planning website, as well as
Kevin's attention to our questions and
requests.
With regard to the reception itself, Kevin
ensured everything went off without a
hitch. We had asked for some additional
requests that required his assistance
(custom introductions, surprise guest
singer, hall acoustics, up lighting, etc)
which he ensured were executed properly.
Most importantly, Kevin and his assistant
made sure the party was a party to
remember. The flow of the music and the
order of the songs he played were perfect.
The crowd was involved and dancing the
entire night and everyone had a great time.

Kevin Colangelo went above and beyond to help me make my wedding day unique
and one-of-a-kind. I live out of town so I had to rely on emails and calls
to correspond with him, and he was professional and helpful the entire time,
making me feel like everything would fall into place. From special requests
(Kevin cut our first dance song for us) to specific details (cueing, song
choice, etc), Kevin made sure that no detail was overlooked. He listened to
what I wanted and offered advice as needed. The day of the wedding I was
given a very special surprise by my Father. For his speech he had secretly
worked with Kevin to do a musical timeline of my childhood and even though
they had never practiced this 'performance' it was flawlessly coordinated.
There was not a dry eye in the room. I have no doubt that this very
sentimental moment would not have happened, if it had not been for Kevin's

Kevin DJ'd a close friend's reception last year as well as my own
this September. Our friend's wedding was an absolute blast and I
was impressed with how Kevin gauged the crowd and played an
outstanding mix of music that kept the dance floor packed all night.
Needless to say, I was excited that we had Kevin booked for our
wedding the next fall.
I
cannot thank Kevin enough for the job that he did at our reception.
We have received numerous comments from friends and family that it
was the best reception they have ever attended. There were 150
guests and nearly every one of them (from ages 8-80) was on the
dance floor the entire evening.
We
let Kevin pretty much run the entire evening and our play/don't play
lists were very short. The music selection was awesome, the right
mix of classics and new hits. As with our friend's wedding, Kevin
did an incredible job of gauging the crowd and giving the people
what they wanted.
What
impressed me the most about Kevin was his level of professionalism
and preparedness. Our planning meeting before the wedding was
invaluable as Kevin offered several suggestions on the order of
events and the flow for the evening. His experience really showed
here and his suggested timeline for the evening was perfect. We
could not have planned the schedule better and are very grateful for
his input.
Of
all the various vendors required to pull off a wedding, Kevin very
easy to work with and the one whom we felt most comfortable with and
confident in. I would recommend him without reservation as he has

In our almost 60 years, we've attended more weddings than we can count.
Never before have we seen a performance that comes close to the production
that Kevin and his team created for our daughter.
From the set up at our outside wedding on somewhat difficult terrain to the
6 hour reception that followed, everything was simply perfect.
Our guests were awed by Kevin's equipment and the professional manner in
which he kept the reception moving along. The dance floor was never
empty...many danced to nearly every song...straight through to midnight. And
yes, several even climbed to the top of the tables to dance.
The photo booth was a huge hit...we heard many positive and fun comments.
The thoughtful backlighting of the sweetheart table and nearby columns was a
wonderful touch.
Thanks to Kevin and his team, our daughter's wedding has now set the "gold
standard" for "DJ" entertainment against which all future weddings will be
evaluated (and we counted at least 24 upcoming weddings in our friendship
circle over the next several years).
Thanks Kevin for delivering an "evening to remember"---you made our
"reception jitters" disappear and made us comfortable that our special
evening was in your very good hands indeed.

Review: From our
initial meeting with Kevin, we felt comfortable and assured that he was going to
do an exceptional job. He walked us through different and unique ideas to make
our wedding our own and not just another run of the mill wedding in a box. His
pricing was very reasonable and when you book with him, you do not just get a
DJ. Kevin is an entertainer who brings life and a sense of comfort to your reception. He will run through your reception prior to the event and provide the
bride and groom a custom plan to make sure everything runs smoothly. On our
wedding day, he was there waiting our arrival with everything set up, he gave us
a run-down of where we were in the reception so we were prepared (we were
running late because of pictures). He riled everybody together and even took
the lead to fix our cake with Dibbles host (Our cake has a nice lean to it). He
was very accommodating and even got us a drink when we were socializing (Little
things like this is was separates the best from the good). Therefore, I
personally recommend Kevin and his company to any of you looking to book a DJ.
His business is definitely A+ and he is a true professional. Thank you for

Kevin Colangelo was AMAZING as our DJ. We
knew from the first time we spoke to him on the phone that he
understood our vision for a non-cheesy wedding reception full of
songs that every generation could dance to. And dance they
did...we had guests telling us since the event how they haven't
danced that much in years! Every person was on the dance floor
at some point from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. It was amazing. Kevin was
also a true professional - my dad was the most impressed that he
asked prior to the father/daughter dance whether he needed a
bathroom break or anything before we were about to begin. AND
Kevin saved the day when our wedding coordinator forgot to put
out a cake knife and we were completely left hanging - Kevin
happened to have one in his emergency kit! We would absolutely
recommend Kevin Colangelo to anyone. Thanks to him, we will
always be known as the wedding where everyone danced up a storm
and had an incredible time!

Kevin and his
assistant, Mike, put on an incredible show at
our wedding, and we had tons of guests coming up
to us and asking us where we found our DJ/MC.
Because we had spent several hours planning the
course of the evening with Kevin, he was really
able to tailor the music exactly to our taste.
He fit in many of our requests at the perfect
time, and even went out of his way to find
special versions of several songs that we had
requested but that he didn’t previously have on
file (including the coolest version of “Sunrise
Sunset” ever by Louis Armstrong. As an MC, Kevin
was very charming, and captured the attention of
our guests while at the same time keeping his
presence fairly discreet.
Special touches that
went incredibly well:
-The father/daughter
dance started out with just the bride and her
father, and then during the last 1/3 of the
song, Kevin called out all fathers and daughters
to come onto the dance floor. The same for the
mother/son dance. This was very popular and
meant that the dance floor went from 2 people to
20 people, then about 200 people within the
course of 3 minutes. Great transition!
-Lighting was very cool
-The alternative garter
toss, where the roles are reversed and the lady
pushes the garter, was hilarious, and everyone
loved it.
-The anniversary dance,
where the dancing couples gradually get
eliminated based on being married for less time
that others, was very exciting, and some of the
older couples that were outlasting others, were
so excited to have their moment in the
spotlight.
-Everything went so
smoothly. Once the dancing started, you couldn’t
keep the guests off the dance floor. It was
packed all night. As Kevin promised, we ended on
a high notes, with energetic dancing until the
end. We had to ask guests to leave.
-Great overall
attention to detail, and succinct keeping to the
schedule.
Thanks for helping make

Jeremy and I would just like to say thank you so much for all of your help
and information before and during the wedding! We appreciated all of your
tips, and guidance to try and make our wedding everything we wanted it to be
and more. Everything ran so smoothly, and was everything and more we
expected it to be. We did not have one minute during the whole night that
the dance floor was not packed and that is exactly what we wanted! Our
surprise entrance we planned went perfectly and shocked everyone! The up
lighting was just beautiful, and really set the mood for the whole night,

person the whole night and since the wedding who has not commented on
